Popular Punjabi names come together for 'Hath Chumme'

MUMBAI: Hath Chumme, DM Desi Melodies debut track, which released a while back, has become quite famous now. The video has crossed nine million views on YouTube.

The song truly deserves all the appreciation as popular singers like Jaani, B Praak and Ammy Virk have contributed towards the song, which has become a hit now.  Their look through in terms of music, lyrics have added a big value to the song.

On the song, Jaani says, “I wrote the song Hath Chumme, which is a real story. Once the song was written, I asked B Praak about it and he was quite happy. He said,' it’s a good commercial song.’"

“I just wanted to do something really fresh and I am glad that people are also are liking it. Once B Praak gave his thoughts, we handed him the music composition of the song. Also, we recorded the song in just 20-25 minutes and in just two takes,” added Jaani.

B Praak, who has composed the music of Hath Chumme added, “It was a nice collaboration, while I was excited to make the music composition for this particular song. The time, when Amy Virk sang the song, we thought it was just a perfect track. Also, the lyrics have blended in quite well.”

Amy Virk, a Punjabi actor cum singer has featured as well as sung in Hath Chumme. On the song, the actor adds, “It was a difficult shoot in my whole career, a few glimpses where there happens to be a ‘swimming pool’ part scene. Also, we shot at temperatures ranging to 40 degrees in Chandigarh, Punjab. So the shooting bit was challenging.”

Amy further added, ‘But, later when I saw the video, it had got an amazing blend. It was a 3D shoot and has been shot at different locations. The man who directed the video Arvindr Khaira has shot it beautifully. Truly it has come out so well.”

When asked about future plans, Amy signed off, saying, “I am going to release my movie this year in September.”

While, Jaani added, “We would be releasing some more good pumping music.”
