MUMBAI: The Remix witnessed some great amount of appreciation with a chain of bang on performances. With DJs and singers brought together in a loop, the show was all set for its ‘firsts’. The Remix seemed to be a long journey and who better than Su Real could give an insight into this, “It’s been nothing short of fantastic. I had no expectations when we started the competition; I did not expect to last longer than round four or five. Winning the competition seemed unbelievable, but it was incredible. My favorite moments from the show were actually backstage, behind the scenes. There was a lot of good camaraderie between all the teams. But on stage, most of my favorite moments involved NSG and Thomson. Between Rashmeet and me I’ll never forget that feeling when we performed our version of Ranjha Ranjha on episode four.  Also, the DJ battle - it was crazy to see the crowd responding to my remix of Dhak Dhak, a childhood favorite that I remixed in a way that was purely my original style,” shared the Twerkistan fame.

Su Real and Rashmeet Kaur’s jodi was outstanding as they received several standing ovations by the judge Nucleya. With all the success the duo received, at the end, it all rounded up to the bond they shared. To this Su Real shares, “My experience working with Rashmeet was amazing. I was truly blessed to be partnered with her. Not only is she technically skilled as a trained classical singer but she’s also sweet, soulful and a humble person.”

Our motivational pillars play an important role in our life and so did Su Real have at The Remix. “My manager Ayush deserves a special shout-out for his emotional support. Also, my fellow contestants DJ Skip and NSG we did become good friends and they equally did support me," states the rapper.

Su Real seems to have a whole lot of music coming up, he shares, “I have an EP coming soon, also many collaborations and guests in the mix too. Actually looking forward to working with a few of my fellow contestants from The Remix, especially Rashmeet, Thomson, Manasi and Yash."

This does not end here Su Real further adds, “We did a bunch of mashups with my homie DJ Skip for my mix on Bobby Friction’s show on BBC Asian Network and we got an original on the way too.”
