EVC moves to NESCO, Mumbai; Armin Van Burren and Arijit Singh to headline

MUMBAI: Music lovers will be making a beeline for the Mumbai’s NESCO Centre come 16, 17 December 2017. The reason: it is the new venue for  \the multi-genre music festival – the  Echanted Valley Carnival – the Comio EVC Mumbai, which features some of the finest acts from India and globally.  This year’s headliners have been announced and in the list are Dutch legend and recently crowned World No 3 DJ Armin Van Burren (16 December), and Bollywood favorite Arijit Singh (17 December).

“We are very excited to host India’s largest two day multi-genre concert at the NESCO Centre,” says Universal Music Group, India & South Asia and EVC CEO Devraj Sanyal. “We are looking forward to making this the most memorable experience for the EVC tribe. The combination of enthusiastic EVC tribe, exciting artists, state of the art venue and technology in Mumbai will ensure one of the best experiences for everyone who visits EVC.”
 
Adds EVC Founder and Director, Twisted Entertainment(M) Shoven Shah: “Our aim has always been to bring like-minded music enthusiasts together and give that tribe the best experience they can imagine. We look forward to host the multi-genre two-day concert this December. We are truly grateful to all our international partners, artists, managers and sponsors. “
 
For the past four years, the EVC has been identified with its Amby Valley home venue, but it was not available this year, due to “extraneous circumstances,” says a press release. 
 
But the promoters are quite confident that this “move heralds a new chapter for EVC.”
