Big FM approached Palak and Palash for Pal Pal Asha Concert. While speaking about the association Palak Muchhal said, “Big FM put forth the concept which was innovative and it was not the general tribute which is given to most singers on their birthdays. Is is something so unique  and we were really excited about it, so we happily accepted, rather, we considered it as an honour  for us by Big FM.”

The Kaun Tujhe singer also shared details about the most memorable day of her life - the day when she first met the legendary singer Asha Bhosle. “I met her at an award function  I got a compliment from her that touched my heart! It was like a dream come true! She carries this aura with her which is so divine, it is so pure. More than the award I received I was more excited meeting her. In person, she is very lively, childlike, vivacious and I think that this reflects in her songs also.”

“September is like a singing festival for us as it is Lata Di and Asha Di's birthday month. It is very special because Aashaji is like goddess Saraswati for me, and I am glad to be a part of  Big FM's show Pal Pal Asha Concert for Sureela September which celebrates the iconic singer's contribution to the industry," gushed an excited Palak Muchhal.

Palash Muchhal revealed, “I was only 17 when I met Ashaji for the first time. It was when my first song Party Toh Banti Hai for Amitabh Bachchan was releasing and she really appreciated the song. That was my fan moment with her. Ashaji is an institution by herself and there is always so much to learn from her."
