MUMBAI: To the unknown, Sunny Leone’s husband Daniel Weber is the frontman of Rock n Roll band The Disparrows. Did you know that? The Los Angeles-based Rock n Roll band ‘The Disparrows’ was formed in 2010 and comprises Daniel ‘Dirrty’ Weber on guitar/vocals, Stephen Tecci on bass/ vocals, Grant ‘DR’ Loosvelt on piano/vocals. The newest addition to the band is two new members Jaydon Bean and Julian Tomarin.

Radioandmusic.com got a chance to have an interaction with the frontman Daniel Weber, who plays the guitar and provides vocals.

“To me, it is freedom of creativity and expression,” said Daniel talking about his band. The Disparrows, started as a blues/ jam band that progressed into full Rock n Roll over time. Also, the new additions to the band are Jaydon Bean and Julian Tomarin who were recommended by other Music industry people. “We knew we were searching for a bigger sound, their names came up and they came into the audition,” told Daniel.

While talking about the last album ‘Wasting Time’, Daniel said that the third album is different from their earlier albums which will be released on 30 June. They recently released an official video of ‘Set Me Free’ which is based on the ruthless condition in Syria. The Disparrows is a ‘total democracy’ and they listen to each other’s ideas.

“This is most mature and connected album to what we are creatively. Vocally I pushed the boundaries that I was comfortable with. The song ‘Set Me Free’ is based on the reality of the entire world, not Syria alone. It is what our generation has accepted as the norm which is not fair to the next generation. Sometimes you write about topics without even thinking about them. They just happen when you hear a piano or guitar melody. This is one of those cases. Musically we took the time to make sure each song told a story. We have a great producer (Anthony Focx). We then mutually decide what works best for the band and the music,” explained Daniel.

Talking about music influences, Daniel said they listen to stuff all over the map, be it rock, hip-hop, pop, or even country music. Also, people who do not know, they have performed in India two years ago and they will come back as a band again during this fall.

Wait for the announcement!
