Salman Khan's goodness is contagious: Vishal Mishra

MUMBAI: Singer-composer, Vishal Mishra who started his musical journey at an early age, is grateful to have got the opportunity to work with the biggies in the industry. Mishra got an opportunity to tune-in with Bollywood’s superstar Salman Khan.

The two recorded a song ‘Gachi’ for Mahesh Manjrekar’s Marathi film ‘Rubic’s Cube’. Working with Salman was bliss for the singer. “He is a loving personality and it is so much fun being with him. Salman understands music so well, also he is just good at everything he does,” said Mishra.

While recording the song for ‘Rubic’s Cube’, Mishra and Salman shared moments tickling their funny bones. Both Mishra and Salman do not understand Marathi in and out and this did give them a few funny moments.

“As we completed the recording, I went to the team with the final song. As soon as they heard the song, I had to come back with disappointment. This was because the pronunciations were just too bad (giggling). In the middle of the recording, Salman kept asking me for the meaning of certain words that I was clueless about. So, we all just kept laughing about it."

"The issue, however, had to be resolved so, I went out of the studio and got someone who knew the language. This language expert explained the meaning of the words to Salman and the track turned out to be perfect. We were amazed to see that he completed the recording in just 45 minutes,” quipped Mishra.

The singer-composer has been around Salman for quite a long time now, and he defines Salman with just two words ‘goodness and pure at heart’. He believes Salman is a big star today because of his goodness.

“Salman’s goodness is just contagious; nothing can be bad around him. He is one of the best human beings I have met. He is encouraging and positive as a person, he can make anybody comfortable around him. I have loved working with him and would wish to keep working in future.”
