MUMBAI: Multifaceted musician-producer, Karsh Kale is in India now for gigs in Bengaluru and Mumbai. He recently played ‘the shortest set’ of his life at a private gig in Bengaluru on 20 May, where the organisers had to stop the performance because of heavy rain. Before he lands up in Mumbai for another private gig, Radioandmusic.com thought of sharing some unheard facts about Karsh Kake.

Karsh loves watching documentary films on sports, musicians, and whenever he has the time he does that incessantly. He believes that documentary films are a great reference to learn something. “Well-made documentaries catch my imagination,” he shared.

Did you know that he grew up obsessing about Marvel comics? He watched Logan as a ‘ten-year-old boy’. If he is in a hotel room and finds that Marvel movie is going on, he can watch it without the volume it is like his friends in the room, that’s what Kale told Radioandmusic.com.

This is hard to believe as Karsh said he used to break dance when he was in fifth grade until about seventh grade! You heard that right. He was also a part of an interschool dance competition.

Did you know Karsh Kale just listens to the late 60s, early 70s Bollywood film songs at times? However, he does that by himself mostly. “I have those moments over a weekend when those are the most appropriate thing to listen to,” he added.

Last, but not the least, his second album ‘Liberation’ was the very first independent album available and advertised on iTunes when iTunes was launched in America in 2003.
