Turn up the 'Radio', the first 'Tubelight' song is about to reach four million

MUMBAI: ‘Radio’ is the first track of the most awaited film of the year ‘Tubelight’, starring Salman Khan. Composed by the musical genius Pritam, penned by Amitabh Bhattacharya, the song has been sung by Kamaal Khan and Amit Mishra. The ‘Radio’ song came out last night 16 May on Sony Music India.

This is undoubtedly a joyful song and it celebrates‘good news’. Salman Khan, who is legendary for his matchless dance moves, will be seen in all-new popper steps with the beats. Kamaal Khan and Amit Mishra’s joyful voices suit perfectly to the character of the song, we believe.

‘The Radio Song’ will give you an experience of the fantastic 60’s as it has a retro feel. As the movie is a family drama set in 1962, the song is a glimpse of one man’s unshakable belief in himself and the love for his family.

The track is about to reach four million within a day of its release.

Talking about the song Salman Khan stated, “Dada (Pritam) has a knack for coming up with instantly hummable numbers. From the time I first heard 'Radio', I can't stop humming it. Aap sunenge toh aap bhi gayenge”.

Adds on director Kabir Khan, “It’s a happy song. The dancing, Salman’s enthusiasm, the entire song will make you happy and definitely get you to dance along. It’s a song for everyone.”
