Joshi and Sickflip to perform at Wicked Weekends

MUMBAI: Wicked Weekends celebrates the essence of urban nightlife campaign that aims to redefine and reinvigorate the nightlife scene in India. The line-up includes everything from international artists, to programming a consortium of the biggest names in independent music from India at the most happening party destinations throughout the country, giving an experience synonymous with the experience offered under NEXA.

This weekend the Wicked Weekends party will be celebrated with Joshi and Sickflip in Pune on 20 May 2017, 9 pm onwards at 1Lounge, Mundhwa.

Joshi hails from the sand and surf of Goa and he debuted at Goa’s Sunburn in 2013 and has continued to impress audiences around the country since. Playing festivals that include Tomorrowland: Unite 2016, Enchanted Valley Carnival and Sunburn, Joshi, has released compilations alongside Tiesto, Arty, Audien, Ferry Corsten, BT and many others. Joshi is the only Indian to be signed on the prestigious Armada Music - Armin Van Buuren’s label and first to be featured on Above & Beyond’s Group Therapy Radio show.

Sarvesh Shrivastava a.k.a Sickflip is a broken beat electronica solo project from Bombay. Within a year Sickflip has belted out worldwide digital releases on labels like High Chai Records (US), Rub A Duck Recordings (Netherlands), Plain Dope Records (UK) and the prestigious Sony Music and has played across NH7 Weekender, Enchanted Valley Carnival, Vasundhara Festival and more. Musically, SickFlip ranges from Glitch hop to Dubstep and everything in between. Making everything from phat and glitchy sounds to groovy smooth beats. His styles are majorly influenced by artists like Bassnectar, Vent, Ill-Esha, Koan Sound, Trolley Snatcha, Funtcase, Amon Tobin, Noisia and a lot more.
