Young the Giant team with YouTube VR for immersive video experience

MUMBAI: Fueled By Ramen recording group Young The Giant has released their new YouTube VR video, ‘Silvertongue’. The immersive, interactive clip, filmed at the YouTube Space LA with the support of local experiential entertainment company, Two Bit Circus, was released today morning.

‘Silvertongue’ marks the latest single/video from Young The Giant’s third studio album, ‘Home Of The Strange’, which immediately ascended to #1 on the iTunes Store’s ‘Top Alternative Albums’ chart and #3 on the overall ‘Top Albums’ chart upon its release last August. The band is celebrating the album with the hugely successful Home of the Strange Tour. The trek’s recently announced summer leg begins Wednesday, 2 August at Louisville, KY’s Palace Theater and then continues through late September. Support on all dates will come from Cold War Kids and Joywave.

Young The Giant heralded ‘Home Of The Strange’ with a number of high-profile television appearances, including an outdoor concert on ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel Live! and as one of the select artists on the fall season of critically acclaimed series Live from the Artists Den, alongside Sturgill Simpson, Panic! At The Disco, and The Lumineers. The tour’s first leg saw the band performing to sold-out houses across the continent, including stops at such world famous venues as New York’s Radio City Music Hall and The Greek Theatre in Los Angeles.
