Baleno Wicked Weekends to feature Indian electronica legends Midival Punditz

MUMBAI: Baleno Wicked Weekends - the multi-city nightlife campaign returns to Delhi for an edition that includes one of the bastions of the Indian electronica prospect, Midival Punditz.

Midival Punditz will be seen performing at Bandstand, Hauz Khas on 11 March 2017. Formed by Gaurav Raina and Tapan Raj in 1997, they have released four albums, performed at festivals like Glastonbury, Mula Fest in Spain, Paleo in Switzerland and multiple shows across the United States over the past two decades. The Punditz have been trailblazers, breaking new ground with each achievement, and creating a path for others to follow. They were the first Indian electronica act to be signed by an international label, Six Degrees Records in the US.

Their music which blends traditional Indian sounds with thumping, tailored-for-the-dancefloor beats has found fans all the way from New Delhi to New York. They are renowned for their exceptional live sets, blending electronica with live percussion, vocals and Indian elements like the flute and tabla.
