MUMBAI: On Mahashivratri, Shiv temples witnessed devotees waiting in huge queues to get a glimpse of lord Shiva and amongst them were ‘Indian Idol 9’ contestants.
Contestants LV Revanth, Mohit Chopra and Khuda Baksh reached Sanyas Ashram, Vile Parle west, to seek divine blessings. Something that one needs give the stiff reality shows competition.
The contestants prayed to the almighty and also made offerings of milk and bael leaves. But, this was not it. The contestants had a special offering for lord Shiva and that was of devotional songs.
It was a spiritual moment for all as the music elevated the feeling of peace and tranquillity for all present.
