Bengaluru-based Parvaaz collaborates with upcoming film 'Vodka Diaries'

MUMBAI: Several music critics have declared Bengaluru-based band Parvaaz as the most talented band to emerge ever for a long time. Followed by that, Parvaaz, one of the most experimental bands is all set to make its debut in a Bollywood film ‘Vodka Diaries.’

On 16 February, the band put an update on its social platform stating, “We are pleased to announce our first big screen collaboration with the film "Vodka Diaries", slated to release later this year. Stay tuned for more updates on this project."

There is no debate in accepting that, the Bengaluru-based band Parvaaz is a good example of ‘East meets West’. The complete set-up of Parvaaz’s sound that portrays Pink Floyd-esque essence steers the band into an amalgamation of its own. In that addition, Parvaaz crowned as the Best Band at the second edition of Sennheiser's Top 50 last year in September (2016).

Directed by ad filmmaker Kushal Srivastava under the banner of K'Scope Entertainment Pvt Ltd, ‘Vodka Diaries’ is a film shot in modern-day Manali. The film will be starring Kay Kay Menon, Raima Sen, Mandira Bedi, Sharib Hashmi and the music is composed by Harry Anand. The film is slated to release on 5 May 2017.

Lastly, the band will be a part of the High Holi Festival on 12 March 2017 in Pune, 24 March at Indian Statistical Institute, Kolkata and 30 March at HRC Andheri, Mumbai.
