MUMBAI: Singer Jonita Gandhi, who was recently applauded for 'The Breakup Song' from 'Ae Dil Hai Mushkil', made her debut on the small screen with popular singing reality show 'The Voice India Season 2'.
In the Blockbuster Live round of the show, 12 celebrity singers shared the stage with top 12 contestants. Jonita was one of the celebrity performers. The singer performed the romantic track with the shy boy, Yashodhan.
"The experience has been very special to me since I have grown up watching reality TV shows. This is my first time on television and I was very excited to share the stage with Yashodhan. There is some amazing talent on 'The Voice India' and I had a great time," Jonita said in a statement.
The show, which is an Indian version of the internationally acclaimed reality format 'The Voice', features Neeti Mohan, Benny Dayal, Shaan and Salim Merchant as coaches.
'The Voice India Season 2' airs on &TV.
