'Roop Tera Mastana' recreated on 'The Voice India'

MUMBAI: Popular singer Benny Dayal, who is seen as a coach on singing reality show ‘The Voice India Season 2’, will next be seen recreating legendary singer Kishore Kumar's famous song ‘Roop Tera Mastana’ on the show.

Benny will recreate the song along with contestants Baishali Lama and Paras Jetly.

The contestants, along with their coach, created a spectacular improvised version of the song which had everyone grooving.

Talking about the experiment, singer Salim Merchant said in a statement: "For the first time ever I am hearing such a version in a reality show. I loved this version, I like the improvisations also. Baishali and Paras both sang it so well. It was a great battle."

Talking about the contestants, Benny said: "It was a pitch perfect battle for me. Both their tones were intact. I really appreciate one thing of Baishali that she has put in a lot of efforts in this song, and also she has never learnt music. Without learning, the way she sang, it was incredible."

‘The Voice India Season 2’ is aired on &TV.
