DJ Zaeden collaborates with Maroon 5 for 'Don't Wanna Know' remix

MUMBAI: Delhi based 21-year old music producer/DJ Zaeden aka Sahil Sharma has a surprise in store for his fans.

Zaeden, who is best known for his tracks ‘Never Let You Go’ and ‘Yesterday’, is collaborating with award winning American pop rock band, Maroon 5 for the official remix of 'Don’t Wanna Know' featuring vocals by Kendrick Lamar.

The first homegrown producer to be signed to the world’s leading dance music label, Spinnin Records, Zaeden states, “2017 is an exciting year for me. I’m a huge fan of Adam Levine since my school days so this is a big coup for me. I will be releasing my new single ‘City Of The Lonely Hearts’ on Spinnin Records on 13th January. I am also looking to collaborate with a few mainstream artists this year apart from performing at the top International festivals and launching my own merchandise brand.”

Popular in the dance music circuits, Zaeden began DJing at 14 years and is one of the first Indian electronic music producers to play at Tomorrowland, Belgium and Marenostrum Festival, Spain. Having played at Privilege Ibiza, Pacha, Barcelona, Sunburn, IIT Mood Indigo, EVC, Supersonic he is the only DJ in the country to have been signed onto the prestigious Music All Star Publishing roster apart from delivering TED talk in Gurgaon recently.

American pop rock band Maroon 5 has quite the following since well over a decade now. They have released many chart-topping tracks and their latest offering was in October last year ‘Don’t Wanna Know’. The song reached the top 10 in 15 countries, including number one in Lebanon. It was later certified Gold in Australia and Italy.

Adding on, Deepsound Entertainment spokesperson, Sudhanshu Tewari stated, "Zaeden has a proven track record of consistency which has made him a household name in such a short span of time. 2017 will mark Zaeden’s global launch in a massive way."

Over recent times, Zaeden has been in the news for 'Never Let You Go', which garnered close to 3 million hits in no time and ‘Yesterday’, which garnered close to 1.5 million views and peaked at #3 on Beatport. In addition, most of the time it is his onstage enthusiasm that translates into an energy and a vibe that is quite remarkable for his age. With a credit of over 350 gigs covering 40 plus cities, the prodigy enjoys goodwill amongst universal names like Hardwell, Dimitri Vegas Like Mike, Avicii, Tiesto, KSHMR etc who endorse him. Zaeden was also featured in the GQ Best Dressed List 2016 and was on the list of ‘Top 50 Indians who defined fashion in 2016’ by MensXP.
