Balan Kashmir to release new single 'Start That Thiruvizha'

MUMBAI: Klang-born talented and imminent rap artist Balan Kashmir who is known to redefine the Malaysian rap game through his inclusiveness and social messages via lyrics, will be releasing a new track called ‘Start That Thiruvizha’ very soon.

A coming of age song is composed and penned by Balan. He has made sure the song video is all about happy vibes and in harmony with the celebratory season. The song will be released on Sony Music South and the video will be available on Sony Music South VEVO channel from 15 December 2016.

“Start That Thiruvizha has a new sound to it, something that my fans have never heard before. I dedicate this to my fans who have supported me through the years. The song is all about being happy and having fun and I want to spread this message world over,” said Balan.

Vikna Raj who is managing the artiste and the company behind this project Click KL Agency believes this video and song could shape shift the way audiences perceive independent and bilingual music. "When a world recognised music company shows interest and believes in your music, you tend to start seeing bigger horizons and possibilities, hence bigger projects can be executed in near future" says the man who been managing Malaysia rising stars such as Balan Kashmir, Switch Lock Up, Hardee Bee who recently featured in Remo movie soundtrack.

Sony Music South Head, Ashok Parwani said, “We have worked with Balan in the past for his song Hola Amigo with Anuridh and he is an extremely talented and hardworking artist. We are extremely proud to release his second single and we are sure his fans worldwide will love this song with a positive message.”

The Klang rapper is synonymous for his language crossovers. He has done tracks in both English and Tamil. He has also worked as a solo rapper /songwriter with many established names in the past. He has also been a prominent player in the Malaysian music scene.
