It always helps to have the film's director in the recording studio: Harshdeep Kaur

MUMBAI: Singer Harshdeep Kaur is currently enjoying the success of ‘Khulke Dulke’ from ‘Befikre’. The song became an instant hit amongst the youth. But, it’s not just Ranveer Singh and Vaani Kapoor who danced to the upbeat track. Kaur too moved to its rhythm during her recording session.

The singer says that she finds it difficult to hold herself back when she records for an upbeat track. “Being a Punjabi, I start dancing. When a song is good, you can’t stop yourself, but you cannot go all out either,” confesses the ‘Nachde Ne Saare’ singer who feels that both Ranveer and Vaani have rocked the song with their energy.

Furthermore, Kaur recorded the track in the presence of Aditya Chopra which saved the trouble of re-dubbing the song. But, do all singers like presence of a director in the recording studio? “It’s always a plus point to have a director in the recording studio. He knows what he wants. So, you usually walk out giving the final product,” says Kaur.

The ‘Sachi Muchi’ singer recently recorded for music composer Anupam Roy’s next. This is the first time that Kaur’s worked with Roy and she liked the experience. Talking about Roy the singer avers, “He is a sweet and talented professional. I am completely looking forward to the song.”
