Aishwarya Suresh eliminated from 'The Stage'

MUMBAI: Aishwarya Suresh walked into 'The Stage 2' auditions as a not too confident stage performer with some affection for the cameras, but today (19 November 2016) she walks out as a confident performer.

The Thailand-born and Bengaluru-based singer was a regular to be benched on the show, but she fought back each time. “I was known for battling it back. The last time I was benched I couldn’t invest everything I had learned from the show to get back.” This marked her exit from the show.

Aishwarya is now looking forward to putting all her learning’s on the real life ‘stage’. “The mentors on the show gave me some great advice. They’ve asked me to perform live to build more confidence. Therefore, I will now be focusing more on gigs. I have sung in front of the camera for my YouTube channel. This time I will go beyond that,” stated the singer.

The budding singer who is in the second year of college is also open to Bollywood playback singing if it comes her way. “If an opportunity comes my way I wouldn’t walk away. My parents have been huge fans of Bollywood music. I personally like English music and that is what I will perform in front of a live audience.”
