MUMBAI: Composer Gaurav Dagaonkar, who also has a yen for singing, is all set to compose and sing for a Nepali film.

“I'm composing the music for a movie called ‘Babumoshai Bandookbaaz’. I am a big fan of Nawazuddin, so I'm just stoked to be doing the film. There's a web series for ALT. Next year, I shall also begin work on my first solo album in Sinhala (for my Sri Lankan fans),” added Gaurav, talking about his upcoming projects.

His first film as a music director was ‘Lanka’ directed by Maqbool Khan. Two songs were composed by Gaurav; ‘Sheet Leher’ was sung by Shreya Ghoshal, and ‘Barham Hain Hum’ was sung by KK.

Produced by filmmaker Vikram Bhatt, the film was released on 9 December 2011. The song 'Sheet Leher' won two Radio Mirchi Music Awards in the following year.
