Meet Bros recreate SukhbirÆs 'Gal Ban Gayee'; compose for Ramesh Sippy's next

MUMBAI: The music proficiency of Meet Bros and the smooth voice of Neha Kakkar, along with Honey Singh’s rap are coming together in a musical blend in the new single ‘Gal Ban Gayee’ by T-series.

This time, it is a recreation of popular Punjabi singer Sukhbir Singh’s ‘Gal Ban Gayee’, which will be releasing in ten days.

Confirming the reports, Harmeet Singh (one-half of the Meet Bros.) said, “The first thing which is releasing in ten days is a recreation of a famous Punjabi song 'Gal Ban Gayee', composed and sung by Sukhbir. We have redone it with a Sufi twist which came out really well. Neha Kakkar has sung with us and Yo Yo Honey Singh did the rap part in that number.”

“This will be a fine peppy and foot tapping single after a long time. Moreover, both of us will be featuring in the music video as well,” added Manmeet.

This is the old version of Gal Ban Gayee:

While talking about their upcoming projects, they shared, “We are working on Ramesh Sippy’s comeback film 'Shimla Mirchi'. Ramesh Sippy has given us blockbuster films such as ‘Sholay’, ‘Andaz’, ‘Seeta Aur Geeta’ and many more in the past. We are lucky and excited to work with him for the first time.”

“What is different about the music is, after a long time we are composing the entire music for the movie and the most significant part is that all the songs are romantic numbers. There will be no ‘Baby Doll’ or ‘Chitiya Kaliya’ this time,” smiled Manmeet.
