Aman Bathla gets first Haryana Ratna Award for fastest piano playing

NEW DELHI: Fastest Pianist in the World Dr Aman Bathla has been honoured with the first Haryana Ratna award for his achievement par excellence in the field of Piano.

The honour was conferred by Haryana Cabinet Minister Krishan Lal Pawar.

Bathla established a new world record by playing 1208 notes and 33 notes in one minute on 8 April 2016. He has another 27 world records to his credit befitting his stature and command on the instrument.

Bathla was honoured with a ‘Doctorate’ by the World Records University (United Kingdom), making him the only Pianist from India to have achieved this feat.

By achieving all these honours, Bathla has created a history of sorts in India.

On the honour, Bathla said - “Gurugram is the place where I was born and brought up and today I am being honoured as Ratna of my state. I sincerely thank our state government for this overwhelming recognition. I will try my level best to make my nation proud.”
