MUMBAI: Award-winning songwriter, composer, performer, and producer Mikey McCleary has teamed up with Bollywood actress turned singer Priyanka Chopra for his next venture.

The all-rounder Priyanka Chopra who was recently seen lip synching to Enrique Iglesias' song 'Don't You Need Somebody?' alongside Jennifer Lopez and Cristiano Ronaldo was recently seen in Mikey's studio.

The 'Waiting' music-composer also went on to praise the 'In My City' singer on his Twitter handle for her promptness and lovely husky voice.

The winner of Best composer at the 9th Asian Film Awards (2015) for film 'Margarita With A Straw', Mikey has worked with several maestros of the music industry such as AR Rahman, Amit Trivedi, Lucky Ali, Karen David, Vishal-Shekhar and Salim-Suleiman.

He has also worked on a large number of advertisements such as for brands like Levi's, Coca-Cola, Vodafone etc. and Bollywood movies such as 'Shaitan', 'Shanghai', 'David', 'Nautanki Saala', etc.

Priyanka Chopra debuted her singing career as a playback singer in Bollywood with ‘Chaoro’ from 'Mary Kom' (2014). Her first single, ‘In My City’ was released in the US on 13 September 2012 and she released her second single ‘Exotic’ featuring American rapper Pitbull, along with its music video in July 2013.
