Sultan's music comes out amidst controversies

MUMBAI: Salman Khan and Anushka Sharma starrer Sultan's music album is out and it confirms that Salman actually deleted Arijit Singh’s song from the film, but he didn’t replace Mika’s song with Badshah. There were so many controversies about Arijit Singh's deleted song - Mika Singh’s replacement with Badshah and Salman singing the Arijit’s song himself. However, neither of these rumours have come true.

The first video song of the movie, titled ‘Baby Ko Bass Pasand Hai’ features Salman Khan and Anushka Sharma in a vivid and peppy number. In the song, Salman's character - named as Sultan Ali Khan - sneaks into a wedding to catch Anushka’s attention. The song is shot in the backdrop of a wedding ceremony, which adds a charisma to it.

'Baby Ko Bass Pasand Hai' has been sung by Vishal Dadlani, Shalmali Kholgade and Ishita, while Badshah lends his voice for the rap portion of the song . Thus, we clearly do not see him replacing the 'Aaj Ki Party' singer Mika being replaced by Badshah here.

Mika even went on to tweet about the misleading news:

However, Mika's musical contribution in the movie Sultan comes through the composition titled ‘440 Volt’.

We are not too sure on which song from the album was earlier sung by Arijit, but if few media reports are to be blieved ‘Jag Ghoomeya’ was earlier crooned by him. However, Rahat Fateh Ali Khan's version is a part of the album. The folk number is a romantic, gentle rendition by Rahat Fateh Ali Khan that talks about the purity and spirituality of true love. Meaningful and melodious, this song touches your heart with its sound. It also has a female version, with the same title, sung by Neha Bhasin.

An official affirmation on 'Jag Ghoomeya' is yet to be made. Nevertheless, we cannot deny the fact that Rahat’s version is also mesmerising.
