Yo Yo Honey Singh returns to the stage after two years at Mirchi Music awards

MUMBAI: Honey Singh had just made his presence felt at the Zee Cine Awards recently. But the Punjabi rapper made an engaging comeback to the performing stage after nearly two years with his show at the Mirchi Music awards held on Monday in Mumbai.

Putting an end to his self-imposed sabbatical, Singh gave an amusing performance along with Ash King and other artists by paying tribute to the comedy king of Bollywood, Govinda by performing hits from the actor’s films, uplifting the mood of the audience considerably. The Mirchi Music Awards were held at the YRF Studios in Mumbai.

The singer was also seen performing the ‘Lungi Dance’ from the film Chennai Express and bonding once again with Shah Rukh Khan, putting an end to the ongoing rumours of conflict between the two.

The 32-year-old, who had vanished from the performing scene for almost two years, had been a topic of discussion for a long time. If sources are to be believed, the singer turned actor was admitted to a rehab centre for his recovery from a drug overdose in Chandigarh.

The Mirchi Music Awards night witnessed the presence of Bollywood celebs like Shah Rukh Khan, Hrithik Roshan, Arjun Kapoor, Aditi Rao Hydari, Surveen Chawla, Dia Mirza and many more.
