Kumar Sanu celebrates 25 years in Bollywood with concert

MUMBAI: Veteran singer Kumar Sanu was joined by several of his fellow artistes at a concert that celebrated his completion of 25 years in Bollywood in Delhi recently.

Sanu, known for songs like ‘Mera Dil Bhi Kitna Pagal Hai’ from the 1991 hit ‘Saajan’ the ‘Baazigar’ title track in 1993, and ‘Rooth Na jaana’ from ‘1942-A Love Story’, has enjoyed an extensive successful music career as a playback singer over three decades. The melody king manages a charitable foundation ‘Kumar Sanu Vidyaniketan’ for underprivileged children. The organisation recently organised a live concert in Karol Bagh, Delhi for a fundraiser.

Veteran singers like Alka Yagnik, Shaan, comedian Raju Srivastava and other artists also performed to support the noble cause. Kumar Sanu who competed his 25 years in Bollywood, believes that education is primary, and all else follows.
