MUMBAI: Shahid Kapoor, Bollywood's chocolate boy turns 35 today.
After the actor's marriage to Mira Rajput in August 2015, this is Shahid's first birthday. His journey in Bollywood is now a decade old.
Shahid was first seen doing a cameo in the song sequence of the Aishwarya Rai starrer 'Taal'.
Bollywood’s first call for Shahid
The time came when producer Ramesh Taurani noticed Shahid in ‘Aryans’ music video, ‘Aankhon Mein’ and called him for a meeting.
Finally, the boy got a break with his first movie ‘Ishq Vishq’ opposite Amrita Rao.
The movie was a sleeper hit but the songs were bang on hits.
Shahid, who rules the hearts of teenaged girls, has given many hits in Bollywood and has featured in a variety of musical numbers. The actor will be seen shortly in Vishal Bhardwaj’s upcoming project ‘Rangoon’.
