MUMBAI: The final song- ‘Raitaa Phail Gaya’ from the Shahid Kapoor and Alia Bhatt starrer ‘Shaandaar’ has been released. And for the launch of the last song, director, Vikas Bahl made things a little special, not just for the film, but also for those attending the event. The video for the track has been selected by popular votes from media persons present at the event.

Bahl, who produced the video, and his creative team, shot two different videos for the same track. However, it put them in a dilemma as they could not decide which of the two videos they wanted to release. That was where the media came in.

In what was a smart marketing strategy, the film’s team played both videos, at the song launch, which took place on 13 October at J.W. Marriot, Juhu. They then asked media at the launch to pick their preferred video, and it is that one, which has been released.

However, this does not mean that the other video will go unseen. Bahl confirmed that once the film hits theatres, the second video for ‘Raitaa Phail Gaya’ will also be published for public viewing. Unlike the already released video, which features the entire cast of the film, the second video will only feature Bhatt and Kapoor.

Bhatt also gave a shout out to music composer for the film- Amit Trivedi, who was absent from the event. “You killed it!,” she said.
