Xolo launches new Android KitKat smart-phone with fingerprint sensor

MUMBAI: Xolo, the mobile manufacturing company launched a new smart-phone featuring fingerprint sensor. Called the Q2100, the fingerprint sensor on the device comes with LastPass integration.

The Q2100 also comes with regular patterns locks. The built-in fingerprint sensor in Xolo Q2100 is located on the top back of the device and allows users to unlock the screen and quickly access the device at the swipe of the finger. Maximum three fingers can be enrolled and successfully decoded as a part of this authentication process.

The Xolo Q2100 features a 5.5-inch HD IPS display with Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It sports an 8MP rear camera with Exmor R sensor, dual LED flash and 2MP front facing camera. The smart-phone runs Android 4.4 KitKat and is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core processor along with 1GB of RAM. The Xolo Q2100 also comes with 8GB of built-in storage which can be expanded to 32 GB via microSD card. For connectivity, the smart-phone supports dual-SIM, 3G, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi. The device is powered by a 2800 mAh battery.

Adding to the convenience, the fingerprint sensor in Q2100 is also integrated with LastPass - the password manager app. Users will now be able to access LastPass app with a swipe of their finger, access the app with the fingerprint sensor and reach all your accounts securely. In addition to this, Xolo Q2100 comes pre-loaded with Peel Smart Remote app which with the help of IR Blaster, allows this phone to act as a universal remote.

The new Xolo smart-phone is available for Rs. 13,499.
