Micromax launches new Android Lollipop 5.0 smartphone - Canvas Fire 4

MUMBAI: Indian consumer electronics company Micromax launched its latest Android Lollipop 5.0 budget smartphone – Canvas Fire 4 at the MWC (Mobile World Congress), the annual conference and trade show for the mobile phone industry held in Barcelona, Spain.

The Micromax Canvas Fire 4 comes with dual front speakers and Cirrus Logic Wolfsan Stereo DAC claiming to offer the best audio. The smartphone sports a 4.5-inch IPS display with resolution of 854 x 480 pixels protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It is clocked at 1.3 GHz quad-core processor along with 1GB RAM. The device includes 8GB internal storage, which can be further expanded to 32GB via microSD card.

The Micromax Canvas Fire 4 features 8MP rear camera with dual LED Flash, 2MP front camera. On the connectivity side, the smartphone includes 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, 3.5mm audio jack, FM Radio and is powered by a 2000mAh battery. The smartphone comes pre-installed with applications such as Clean Master, App Center, Dr. Safety, Snapdeal, Saavn, Ask me, Chaatz, Newshunt, Paytm, Quickr and MAD.

The Micromax Canvas Fire 4 is available in black and silver with a price of Rs. 6,999.
