10 Sanam Puri versions that will make you love the cover again

MUMBAI: He's just 24, as young and handsome as they come, and has been a YouTube sensation for the last four years. Sanam Puri's affair with music began when he was six, and although he has been winning awards since his college days, the lad never thought singing would become his career.

Sanam's band SQS hit a rough patch after it won the Times Music Supastars band hunt in 2010 and launched its first self-titled album SQS Supastars and launched music videos of their songs ‘Hawa Hawa' and ‘Behka'. But Sanam thanks Ben Thomas, manager and now the band’s fifth member, who introduced them to Vishal-Shekhar and got them their first Bollywood break with the song 'Dhat Teri Ki' from the movie 'Gori Tere Pyaar Main'. Sanam has been in the limelight mainly for his covers, but now wants to do originals too. His music is his weapon and he wants to create motivational and inspirational numbers and gain fans from all age groups.

Here are Sanam’s 10 best songs over the years, worth another listen even if you have heard them before.
