MUMBAI: The auspicious festival of Eid is finally here. It’s a day of joy and excitement. But this year, people are keeping the festival low-key owing to the pandemic. From our favourite B-town celebrities to television celebrities, everyone has been conveying their wishes and urging people to stay safe and healthy!

Casting director Shadman Khan who is known for the casting of Music Videos, Television shows, web series, commercial ads and reality shows, opens up on how lockdown has impacted the festival vibes. “every year, we used to visit Eidgah to perform namaz, but due to COVID-19, we couldn’t visit this time. We can’t go to our relative’s place to celebrate and eat biryani & seviyan.”

The lockdown has a major impact on the crew of the shows as they are the daily wagers. But amid rising covid cases, most of the shoots has come to a halt. It must be very difficult for them to even survive. This Eid is definitely not the happiest one but still, I would like to urge everyone to not step out as the situation is really critical.
