MUMBAI:This promises to be the mother of all music launches, going by the hype it's been generating for weeks now.
The latest buzz is that maverick actor turned director Kamalahasan is leaving no stone unturned to ensure that his latest baby, Dasavatharam gets released in style. And that includes the music of the Tamil film as well. First, we heard that international film star Jackie Chan, a good friend of the film's producer would be attending the launch as the chief guest. Now the buzz is that Kamal has persuaded Amitabh Bachchan to fly back from Miami to attend the Chennai event, tentatively scheduled for 25 April. Chan and Bachchan were last seen together at the International Indian Film Awards, where they bonded well.
Dasavathram is one of Haasan's most ambitious projects, where he plays 10 roles. Asin and Mallika Sherawat step in as his heroines. The music has been composed by Himesh Reshammiya.
