* Radio Mirchi brings it on with Kites, Rangoli and Tollywood celebs Nani and Kruti Kharbandha
MUMBAI: On Makar Sankranti, Radio Mirchi 98.3 FM organized �Mirchi Sankranti Sambaralu', a kites-and-rangoli festival in Hyderabad, Vizag and Vijayawada in association with Vodafone Essar.
Vodafone subscribers and Mirchi listeners gathered for Sankranti celebrations in authentic Andhra style with a Rangoli competition at Hyderabad's art and heritage point, the Shilparamam, with Tollywood celebrities Nani and Kruti Kharbandha adding glamour by their presence. A few Vodafone subscribers and Mirchi listeners, who were chosen on-air, got the opportunity to take part in the Rangoli competition along with RJs Bhargavi and Bharathi. The winner was received goodies from Kruthi Kharbandha & Nani. Lucky members of the winning team got the opportunity to co-host the shows with the respective RJs.
As part of the celebrations, a kite flying competition was organized on January 15th at the same venue.
