MUMBAI: To earn its share in the growing music market, Vodafone Essar has announced a new music download service which enables customers in Mumbai to download full length songs at just one rupee per song.
The service is available on Vodafone Live to both prepaid and postpaid customers with a basic GPRS connection on their handset. Customers can SMS <Song> to 111 the toll free number and get the link that leads to the subscription page. The gallery provides them with thousands of popular songs across various genres such as Bollywood, Bhajans, International Hits, Ghazals and more. The service also has a convenient search option which helps customers find their favorite songs with ease.
Customers can also subscribe to this service on a daily basis for Rs.5 which enables them to download 5 songs in a day. Selected songs will automatically be saved to a personalized virtual playlist titled �My Songs' on the portal and can be downloaded again at no additional charge.
