MUMBAI: After two sell out tours, legend of sufi music Ustad Rahat Fateh Ali Khan is all set to kickstart his UK tour in the month of June/ July.
Starting from Friday, 24 June the singer with his group of 15-musicians will perform live concerts across UK at Leicester, Manchester, Glasgow, Birmingham and London.
The maestros and his ensemble will perform on some of his biggest and latest bollywoood hits including 'Tere Mast Mast Do Nain' from Dabangg, 'Tum Jo Aaye' from Once upon a time in Mumbaai, 'Sajda' from My Name is Khan, 'Naina Thag Lenge' from Omkara and 'Dil To Bachcha Hai Ji' from the movie Ishqqiya which won him the Filmfare Award for Best Playback Singer in 2011.
Apparently, the concert will also witness some of his memorable and evergreen qawwali favorites like 'Ankhiyan Udeek Diyaan', 'Dum Mast Qalandar' , 'Saanson Ki Maala', 'Mera Piya Ghar Aaya', ' Yeh Jo Halka Halka Suroor Hai' to mention a few.
The tour is organized by Saregama event productions.
