MUMBAI: Aptly called The Social Network', the film on facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg is probably one of the most anticipated film's of the year.

It is reported that the music of the film will be scored by 45-year-old American songwriter and multi instrumentalist Trent Reznor of Nine Inch Nails.

Reznor was listed by Time magazine's as one of the most influential people in 1997.

On his official website nin.com, Reznor posted a message, David Fincher started inquiring about my interest in scoring his upcoming film, The Social Network'. Yeah, the movie about the founding of Facebook....

He further added, I've always loved David's work but quite honestly I wondered what would draw him to tell that story. When I actually read the script and realized what he was up to, I said goodbye to that free time I had planned. Atticus Ross and I have been on a creative roll so I asked him if he wanted to work on this with me and we signed on....

Due to release on October 1 this year, the Columbia Pictures movie is directed by David Fincher and stars Jesse Eisenberg as Zuckerberg.

The music of the film will be available on an album and it will be in stores a couple of weeks... ahead of the film's US opening.
