Tips Music launches NRI debut album `Gallan`

Mumbai: Tips Music has launched an album `Gallan` by the debutant band NRI, last month. Nawid, Rubal and Indy, with a common interest in Punjabi music, form the core tem of the band.

The album consists of ten bangra club tracks with a new style made popular by the Asian based artist Raghav and features stars like Amar Arshi, Lembher Hussainpuri, Sumeet & Sir Aah.

Shot in New York the video for Gallan has been directed by Julius Packiam. The lyrics has been written by Late Mastana Singh, Sharmila, Keshav and NRI.

"It is not about talent, it`s about bringing ideas together & when we look back we never thought we would get so far" said the members of the band.

NRI began with music production for jingles, bands etc. and subsequently set up a website where they uploaded a promotional track which they felt would be the lead track in their forthcoming debut album.

NRI also symbolizes the band`s music which is novel, rustic & innovative.
