Mumbai:Times Music has launched the religious chant Gayatri in the form of home video titled `Gayatri - a personal journey into the most powerful mantra of the Universe`.  Speaking Tree Films Presentation and produced by A Kids Play Production, the movie stars Benjamin Gilani, Jay Pathak and Neelam. The movie is entirely shot at the sprawling ghaats of Benaras with the beauty of the Ganges at it best.

The genesis, symbolism and origin of the Gayatri Mantra along with the ritual of Gayatri Sandhya Vandana are the highlights of this movie.

Gayatri Mantra is a famous mantra that is being chanted since Vedic times, 6,000 to 8,000 years ago. It concerns the creation of the universe by Lord Brahma and is an universal prayer.
