Suraj Jagan renders first ever Gujarati rock song

MUMBAI: Suraj Jagan, the voice behind myriad of bollywood chartbusters has rendered the first ever gujarati rock song titled ‘Pankhida’ for a contemporary film.

The rock song by Jagan was scored by guest music director Vishesh Parmar. The album comprises of nine tracks and the title track is sung by renowned artist Roop Kumar Rathod. Mehul Surti has composed the music for the film while the lyrics are penned by Raeesh Maniar.

Speaking about the experience of performing his first gujarati rock song, Jagan said, “It’s an absolute honour to be chosen to sing the first ever Gujarati film song. Kevi Rite Jaish is a film that is going to change the Gujarati film industry and I am truly grateful to be a part of this evolution. It was fantastic working with the team, as working with fresh - young - new talent has always been a pleasure for me. Their enthusiasm and drive is very inspiring." 

Suraj Jagan is noted for hit songs like Aafaton ke parinde(Ishaqzaade), Give Me Some Sunshine(3 Idiots), Dil Dhadkane do(Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara), Jaa Chudail(Delhi Belly).
