Sujata Bhatt replaces Kavita Bagga as Mirchi mktg head

MUMBAI: Radio Mirchi National marketing head Kavita Bagga has moved to Times OOH as National Key Accounts Head  Sujata Bhatt, who has earlier had a stint as Mirchi Mumbai station head, has taken over as the National marketing head from 1 April. Bhatt would be responsible for devising and implementing key marketing strategies at Mirchi.

ENIL CEO Prashant Panday confirms, Kavita Bagga has moved internally to head key accounts in our Times OOH business. She has spent time in our events and radio business and in line with her own professional wishes, she now moves into another important part of our business. Sujata used to handle our EVP Corp strategy and will additionally take over the marketing function that Kavita was heading. Both ladies are brilliant professionals and its ENIL's honour and pride that they have spent so much time with us and contributed so much to our success....

Adds Bhatt, I used to handle corporate strategy earlier and now would be handling the additional responsibility of marketing.... Prior to this marketing portfolio, Bhatt was Radio Mirchi's Mumbai station head and moved to corporate strategy about seven to eight months ago. The Mumbai station is currently handled by Sriram Kilambi who was earlier the cluster head for the eastern region.

There has been lot of restructuring in Radio Mirchi in the past few months with new appointments and elevations. Kavita Bagga took over as the National marketing Head after Kaushik Ghosh was appointed as National Sales Head of Radio Mirchi which was earlier handled by Naveen Chandra  After Kaushik Ghosh put in his papers in February this year to join Star Network, Alternate Brand Solutions COO Sameer Sainani took over as National ad sales head for Radio Mirchi on 1 April 2009.
