MUMBAI: Pop singer Beyonce Knowles fans in U.S can no longer watch her songs on YouTube web page as her videos have been blocked by Sony Music Entertainment on �copyright grounds'.
The action comes on the heels of a copyright infringement issue involving Beyonce's label. Sony desires to earn major sum from the online video biz which explains the reason for the action. The videos were listed on Beyonce's official channel.
In place of the videos, there is now a message directly from the company that reads, "This video contains content from Sony Music Entertainment, who has blocked it in your country on copyright grounds." Sony has not issued any official word on the reasons for the blockage.
The video was available in other countries apart from US, where Sony has licensed it, but apparently it was the only country where it was blocked.
