MUMBAI: Shemaroo Entertainment has acquired the mobile rights of India TV's cricket-based reality show, Big Toss. It will now make available content and products from the show to 2G consumers across operators, while on 3G, the content and products will be offered only to TATA Docomo's 3G subscribers.
Mobile consumers will now be able to experience the show through live streaming, video downloads, voice alerts and caller tunes, and also participate in contests and hear voice chats of Veena Mallik and Rakhi Sawant along with other participants discussing various aspects of the matches and the players.

Shemaroo delivers content on new media platforms like mobile, internet and IPTV among others and has 2000-plus titles in its library, which are now being leveraged on all digital mediums. The company has tied up with several content providers and has a variety of film and non-film content in different languages. In fact, with the quantum of work we are doing in new media segment, the segment will be a key growth driver for Shemaroo in the coming years,.. Maroo says.
Shemaroo has come up with video clips teaching yoga / workout, 15-minute movies, short scenes from movies, songs and more for mobiles phones. Similarly, it is a content partner for YouTube with channels like Shilpa's Yoga, Bolly Googly, Shemaroo Telugu and Filmi Gaane.
Bigg Toss is a one-hour reality show featured live on India TV at 8pm and has completed 12 episodes. The show has 14 celebrities in a house discussing the Cricket World Cup and carrying on various tasks assigned to them. The participants of Bigg Toss include Veena Malik, Rakhi Sawant, Sylvie, Sakshi Bhayana, Simran, Amrita Dhawan, Shankar Sahni, Pop Singer, Ashok Masti, Vijay Jolly, Yograj Singh, Zahid Nigam, Swami Arvind Mukesh Sharma and Shalu Arora.
