MUMBAI: As a tribute to his father and Bengali composer Manas Mukherjee, renowned singer Shaan will produce a remixed version of his father’s song ‘Naina.’
Shaan has tied up with Talenthouse India for the initiative. The singer has undertaken the aid of creative crowd-sourcing by inviting aspiring disc jockeys, sound engineers and composers. A contest is hosted for music aficionadas, lending one lucky winner an opportunity to feature in video and be a part of his next music album.
Speaking on the initiative Shaan said, “Naina' is a very beautiful and emotional song and is really close to my heart, as it is my father's composition. With this creative invite, I'm looking at giving a music composer an opportunity to add that charm and pep to my dad's work that would give it a dynamic sound. I am looking forward to receiving entries from the remotest part of the country to the buzzing metros.”
