MUMBAI: After bagging nine awards at the India Radio Forum, Big FM Mumbai added another feather to its cap with its morning jock RJ Harssh Singh winning the Bharat Ratna Dr Ambedkar award for ‘Best RJ’.
The station's breakfast show host won the top honour for being the best jock on-air. Cementing his position as one of the most loved RJs in the city, RJ Harssh hosts the show ‘Morning Wala Harssh’ everyday between 7-11am which amplifies his popularity with Mumbaikars.
Launched in October 2012, the show has found a constant connect with Mumbai’s on-the-go populace. It showcases problems faced by Mumbaikars on a daily basis, as the jock attempts to bring change to their lives.

The awards ceremony aims to honour the best from the world of media and entertainment. Other recipients of the award included eminent personalities like sportsmen Dhanraj Pillai and Chetan Sharma and singers Richa Sharma and Vinod Rathore.
