MUMBAI: RCS India has extended its services to Radio One which launched in Pune recently.

Radio City had joined the long established Radio Mirchi on the airwaves in this Maharashtra boomtown with over five million people, one month ago.

All three commercial radio stations rely on RCS for essential parts of their radio operation. Radio One launched with Master Control as studio system, fully integrated with Selector and Linker as content schedulers.Says Radio One programming head Vehrnon Ibrahim, who supervised the Pune launch, "RCS was there for us when it counted, offering an affordable system, handling the setup and installation in a very short time and being on site with us during the critical hours of the launch. Since then, Master Control is running smoothly and gives us the control that we want and need in a competitive situation."

Radio One also uses Airwaves Traffic from RCS as scheduling and billing solution for the commercials in its Pune setup. In addition, Airwaveshandles contract administration, customer relations and complete reporting.
