Radio Misty appoints ombudsman

MUMBAI: Radio Misty has appointed the chairman of Confederation of Indian Industries (CII) North Bengal Chapter G S Hora as ombudsman for the network.

Operational in Siliguri and Gangtok, Radio Misty has made this appointment for its radio business to cater to the specific needs and requirements of advertisers as well as listeners using the medium.

This initiative is aimed at making radio an accessible, customer friendly and serious medium, says Misty. Known for its on air and on ground innovations, the station is providing a platform where the issues and concerns related to the medium can be addressed and solutions arrived at to increase the effectiveness of radio 

Commenting on the new appointment Radio Misty Chief Executive Officer Nishant Mittal remarked, Radio is now in the process of developing itself as a serious medium. We have appointed an ombudsman to cater to the needs of listeners and advertisers, who can now approach the ombudsman for their feedback and suggestions and get them  solved. This initiative will help us with feedback and this is very positive step in this direction."

G S Hora was district governor of Lions International and Honorary lecturer in Law department of North Bengal University. Beside this, he is chairman of Gyan Jyoti College and Institute of Chartered accountants of India at Siliguri.
