Radio Mirchi launches in Surat

MUMBAI: Radio Mirchi 98.3 FM has launched in Surat, bringing their total number of stations to 22.

Radio Mirchi plans to roll out 10 more FM radio stations by the year-end.

Apart from the regular shows, the other special weekend programmes are Mirchi Pe Mirchi, Campus Bytes, Hasya Dairo, Surat Ni Demand and Surat Bol.

ENIL COO Nandan Srinath said, "Radio`s strength is its immense flexibility, adaptability and suitability for a modern and active life. Lots of towns in India today are energy starved and with the launch of radio stations across the country, radio will soon be a familiar sight. It will be the best companion. All you need is a transistor with a pencil battery. We expect the Mirchi style of programming of Radio Mirchi to revitalise radio in Surat."

Radio Mirchi`s operational stations include Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai, Kolkata, Indore, Ahmedabad, Hyderabad, Bangalore, Jaipur, Pune, Patna, Jalandhar, Goa, Kanpur, Lucknow, Nashik, Aurangabad, Rajkot, Bhopal, Varanasi and Vadodara.
