MUMBAI: In its zest to create innovative and user-generated content, Radio City has joined hands with Viacom18 Motion Pictures and launched a property titled ‘Blue Carpet Music Launch’.
With this association, Radio City will premiere the music of all movies under the banner of Viacom18 Motion Pictures. The property kick-started with the music launch of upcoming film ‘Department’. The occasion was graced by director Ram Gopal Verma, debutant Nathalia Kaur and music director duo Sandeep - Dharam.
Commenting on the partnership, Radio City 91.1 FM national programming director Kartik Kalla said, “Radio City is proud to be the first and only radio station to have partnered with Viacom18 Motion Pictures thus initiating the ‘Blue Carpet Music Launch’ property. This strategic alliance will open up myriad possibilities that will help us further establish a strong connect with our listeners and strengthen our presence in this space.”
Earlier, Radio City in association with Viacom18 Motion Pictures has held music premieres of films like ‘Bittoo Boss’ and ‘Blood Money’ under the banner. The property is the extension of station’s ‘Blue Carpet’ movie screenings initiative.
