Palm Expo 2012 builds sound theme in its 12th edition

MUMBAI: Palm Expo is back with the latest offerings for professional audio, lighting and music industry. The three-day international convention for the entertainment technology industry is scheduled to be held from 31 May 2012 at Bombay Exhibition Centre, Mumbai.

In the 2012 show, 140 national and international exhibitors are expected to participate who will display over 1000 products and technologies. The China Pavilion will host representations from at least 10 Chinese companies, giving an apt testimony of the booming Indian market.

This year, the NX Audio series will showcase a USB based range of DJ products including media & CD players and DJ mixers. Packshield will showcase flight cases for industrial packing and musical instruments, along with their brand Ajor on display. The booth of Sonotone Electronics will showcase brands such as DV Technologies, Dyna Tech, P Audio, JTS, and Dyna DJ and new products such as the T12 line arrays from DV Technology, speakers from P Audio and amplifiers. Along with the audio and sound products, Sonotone will also launch its new online portal for selling audio products. Sound & About will display their range of acoustic products, whereas series of loudspeakers will be seen at the Sound Solutions booth. Yamaha Music specializing in musical instruments, pro audio and audio-video products will showcase their set of technologies.

Diversified Communications India managing director Anil Chopra said, “The theme of the 2012 Palm show is stage light and sound. Palm Expo will build on this theme in its conference and seminar programmes as well as in its show design, with special focus on this segment in marketing. The show will be better in 2012 as it boasts of features in lighting and a robust seminar programme featuring international talent in audio engineering. International participation will not only make the show bigger but better with respect to the Palm as a destination to launch new products.”
